Feedback from Teachers

“Hope House has been working with our BHS students on the topic of healthy relationships for many years.  We are very fortunate to have this local resource come into our Health classrooms and do fun and interactive lessons that students really enjoy.  The feedback that we get from students is always positive and that the information and skills learned is useful to them.”
– Baraboo High School Health Teacher

“The information presented is invaluable for our 7th grade and 8th grade students. I am excited for the potential of the now 7th graders being able to reconvene with you as 8th graders, as there seems to be a level of focus that rises when we bring you in for presentations, whether in person or virtual. Students seem to take the bullying and relationship advice to heart, and it becomes more than just a school lesson.”
– Webb Middle School (Reedsburg) Health Teacher

“The lessons were taught in a very well thought out professional manner and were extremely engaging to our students.  The topics discussed in the lessons are crucial for the development of our youth as they work to navigate the social and emotional challenges they face on a daily basis. The lessons were aligned with state and national standards for health education. We are extremely fortunate to have a vital community resource to collaborate with our school and educate others to know that it is available during times of need. We look forward to collaborating with Hope House in the future!”
– Wayne Bartels Middle School (Portage) Phy-Ed Teacher
