Team Descriptions 

Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Teams: These teams consist of service providers from various agencies, including prosecution, law enforcement, advocacy, health and human services, healthcare, probation and parole, therapy centers, schools, churches, businesses and more. Each team is unique but generally works to better support victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, hold perpetrators accountable, and raise awareness.

Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART): These specialized teams usually only consist of advocacy, law enforcement, prosecution, and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners. Each team is unique but generally they review sexual assault cases in the community and discuss how each system can better work together to serve victims of sexual assault.

Interdisciplinary Teams (I-Teams): These teams specifically address the issue of elder abuse and thus usually consist of Adult Protective Services, Aging and Disability Resource Center, law enforcement, advocacy, and banks. They often review elder abuse cases in the community and discuss how each system can better work together to serve victims of elder abuse.

Sauk County

Sauk County CCR: 
  • Mission: The Sauk County Coordinated Community Response Team is committed to developing community based collaborative strategies that effectively and consistently reduce the incidents of domestic violence and sexual assault, provide safety for the victims and their children, and provide accountability for the perpetrators.
  • Meetings: The Sauk Co. CCR meets bi-monthly  (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) on the 4th Thursday at 10:30/11am at the West Square Building in Baraboo.   • Examples of Awareness Activities: Sauk Co. CCR members have raised awareness by recording radio PSAs utilizing the Start by Believing and the NO MORE campaigns, inviting Scott Neubauer from Child Abuse Education Foundation to present on signs of and response to child abuse, staffing a booth at Baraboo's Fair on the Square, creating table tents for restaurants, writing newspaper articles, organizing a teen art contest, giving domestic violence presentations to cosmetologists, distributing coasters to local bars, and using the NO MORE magnets on squad cars.
Sauk County SART: The Sauk Co. SART meets bi-monthly  (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) on the 4th Thursday at 10am at the West Square Building in Baraboo. Please note that these meeting times and locations are subject to change. Columbia County

Columbia County CCR: 
  • Mission:  The Columbia County CCR (Coordinated Community Response) Team links service agencies and the community in a coordinated effort to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault including vulnerable adults and the elderly, and hold the perpetrator accountable.
  • Meetings: The Columbia Co. CCR meets bi-monthly (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) on the 3rd Wednesday at 8am at the courthouse in Portage. Please note that these meeting times and locations are subject to change. To verify this information, please contact Hope House at 608-356-9123.
  • Examples of Awareness Activities: Columbia Co. CCR members have raised awareness by walking in the Wo-Zha-Wa parade in Wisconsin Dells, giving presentations to service providers and community members, promoting Denim Day in April, and using the NO MORE magnets on squad cars.
Columbia County SART: The Columbia Co. CCR meets quarterly at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Please note that these meeting times and locations are subject to change. To verify this information, please contact Hope House at 608-356-9123.

Adams County

Adams County CCR:
  • Mission: The purpose and mission of the Adams County CCRT is to reduce the number of incidents and impact of domestic violence and sexual assault through public awareness and education and to increase the support for victims through a cooperative effort of county resources while holding perpetrators accountable.  We collectively affirm that violence will neither be ignored nor tolerated in our community. Together as a team, we are committed to reducing domestic violence and sexual assault in Adams County. 
  • Meetings: The Adams Co. CCR meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 10am at the courthouse in Friendship. Please note that these meeting times and locations are subject to change. To verify this information, please contact Hope House at 608-356-9123.
  • Examples of Awareness Activities: Adams Co. CCR members have raised awareness by creating a​ NO MORE video PSA for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April), giving multiple presentations to service providers and community members, walking in the homecoming parade, writing articles for the newspaper, recording radio PSAs, putting displays in the community center and the courthouse, participating in Denim Day, using the NO MORE magnets on squad cars, promoting the Purple Purse campaign for financial abuse awareness, and sharing student announcements at the high school.

Juneau County

Juneau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault:
  • Mission: Reduce the number of incidents and impact of violence through public awareness and education. Increase support for victims through a cooperative effort of County resources while holding perpetrators accountable. 
  • Meetings: The Juneau Co. Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at noon at the Park Oasis in Mauston. Please note that these meeting times and locations are subject to change.   • Examples of Awareness Activities: Juneau Co. Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault members have raised awareness by creating their own Facebook page, sharing information at the Sharing Supper in Mauston, doing a TV interview, recording radio PSAs, creating place-mats for local restaurants, promoting the Purple Purse campaign for financial abuse awareness, and using the NO MORE magnets on squad cars.

Marquette County

Marquette County Community Networking Group (CNG): 
  • Mission: The purpose of CNG is to bring together local leaders to build mutual understanding, so that we will support each other’s work and address needs and interests of Marquette County residents, to contribute to a healthy, pro-social, and just environment.
  • Participants: This group has representatives participating from multiples community agencies in Marquette County, including but not limited to, health and human services, UW-Extension, advocacy, healthcare, schools, civic groups.
  • Meetings: The Marquette County CNG meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 11:30am-1:00pm at Cafe Hilltop, 125 Church Street, in Montello. Please note that these meeting times and locations are subject to change.
