Tickets are $20, and you can buy one by stopping by Hope House, asking someone you know who works at Hope House, OR at the link below (make sure you scroll down to the "Hope House" link so our organization gets credit for the sale). 100% of that $20 ticket will be donated back to Hope House - to help us help those struggling with domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. Stewards of Children training: upcoming dates and locations below
Learn how to protect the kids in your life! Hope House is facilitating free, in-person Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children trainings. This evidence-based training teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Open to the public. Participants are welcome to bring their own food and beverages to this event.
October 12th 3:30-6pm: Hatch Public Library in Mauston
November 16th 3:30-6pm: Portage Public Library
December 14th 3:30-6pm: UW Extension Marquette County in Montello

Oct 28: "We Can Do Something About This: Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences" training in Wisconsin Dells
Register today for Rebecca Mather's "We Can Do Something About This: Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences" training on October 28th from 11:30am-3pm at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells - Upper Ballroom. Learn about the research that identified ACEs and their long-term impacts. Discover how understanding ACEs can serve as a catalyst to help families and communities protect current and future generations of children from these potentially harmful experiences. Learn ways to prevent or lessen the impact of ACEs on the wellbeing and health of children both now and as adults. Rebecca Mather serves as the Prevention Education Specialist for the Wisconsin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board.
Open to the public. Masks are mandatory, and tables will be spaced out. Cost is $15 and includes a light lunch of a turkey sub sandwich with a cup of soup and beverage.
