Stewards of Children training-multiple dates and locations

Learn how to protect the kids in your life! Hope House is facilitating free, in-person Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children trainings. This award-winning, evidence-based training teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Open to the public. Masks are required. Participants are welcome to bring their own food and beverages to this event. Download the training flyer here.​​​

Abuse in Later Life:
​A Cross-Training for Direct Service Providers
Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Ho-Chunk Gaming - WI Dells

Presented by Doreen Goetsch from GWAAR & Keeley Crowley from WI DOJ OCVS
 

The purpose of this training is to enhance older victims’ safety and quality of life by strengthening collaboration among direct service providers.
Topics Include:
· Types of abuse in later life
· Understanding types of abuse in later life and abuser tactics
· Collaborating to create a victim-centered response
· Planning for victim safety
· Existing services for older adults

WHEN:  Thursday, June 23, 2022
WHERE:  Ho-Chunk Gaming—WI Dells, Lower Dells Ballroom B/H
TIME:  8:00 am—5:00 pm
