Henry Pullett Jr. 68, shot and killed his 63-year-old girlfriend Elizabeth Singler and then himself in front of an attorney during a legal proceeding the two were involved in, officials said. Both were from Madison.

MADISON - Elizabeth M. Singler, age 64, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1949, to Eileen (Bush) and Milo Singler. Elizabeth married Dennis Home in 1976. They shared 25 years together and had two children, Abigail and Aaron Home. Elizabeth worked with special needs children for more than 25 years, and also worked as an LPN. She was an avid democrat, a Girl Scouts leader, loved to travel, and was a music lover, especially the blues. Elizabeth was a loving mother and touched a lot of lives.

She is survived by her daughter, Abigail (Alberto Gomez) Home of Austin, Texas; expected granddaughter, Aria Elizabeth and her son, Aaron (Kimi) Home of Winston-Salem, N.C.; mother, Eileen Singler; and brothers, Timothy (Mhaire) Singler of Oregon, and Richard (Diane) Singler of Shiocton. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Milo; and sister, Gail Singler.

Erin Ziemendorf, 30, of West Allis was killed by her boyfriend, stuffed in a duffle bag and dumped in the trunk of a car. Matthew McDowell, 40, gave himself up to police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Monday - saying that Ziemendorf had died during an argument. Police say McDowell snapped her neck. Erin leaves behind a 5-year old son.

Erin Ziemendorf of West Allis, WI, was received into the loving arms of our Lord on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at the age of 30. Loving, cherished and devoted mom of Angelo, her beloved son and love of her life. Loving daughter of Jon and Darlene Ziemendorf. Cherished sister of Benjamin (Dawn) Ziemendorf and Beth (Michael) Halloran. Beloved granddaughter of Florence Groth. Erin was loved and will be remembered by Kevin Masullo, other relatives and many special friends. Visitation will be held on Mon., Nov. 11, at MARTIN LUTHER LUTHERAN CHURCH, ELCA, where Erin was a longtime and dedicated member.
