24-Hour Confidential Helpline: 1-800-584-6790

Our helpline is for victims, families and friends of victims, or individuals looking for more resources or information related to domestic or sexual violence.
During October of 2011, Hope House moved its shelter from a 5-bedroom home to a 9-bedroom shelter and office space at 720 Ash Street in Baraboo. Please click here to learn about our move into a larger space.

We can provide emergency transportation for women who are unable to get to the shelter on their own. Our shelter is for women (and any children they may have) who are or are at risk of becoming homeless due to domestic violence or sexual assault. Hope House does provide services to male victims, including housing through other shelter programs and local motels.
Our Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Counselors/Advocates provide individual counseling, support groups, safety planning, life skills education, resources, and referrals. Our Attorney/Legal Advocate provides help with restraining orders (answering questions, help with filing, and court accompaniment), criminal cases (explaining the process and preparing for testifying), and providing information about family law and child custody. For specific information on Hope House's support groups that are currently running for adults, kids, or teens, please call 1-800-584-6790. Hope House is always looking for opportunities to start support groups where there is demand. Please call us if you or someone you know is interested in attending a support group.
